2 weeks with Tewodros

Tewodros has been home for 2 weeks today. It ha s been pretty good so far. The language barrier is getting broken down quickly. A few days ago he said his first English sentence " Watch this Eli" it gave me a smile with joy on my face. Our family has also learned some of his language which is Amharic as well as Tewodros leaning English. The first week he was home I had the week off from school. I love Tewodros to pieces!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please continue to pray for the language barrier to be broken down even more.

Come Home

Tewodros I love you so much I wish I was cuddling with you right this very moment!!!!!!!! You were in are prayers before I saw the picture of you. I'm can't wait to meet you!!!!!!

My Cutie Pie

Now is this boy adorable or what!!!!! Tewodros Samuel Kellar Stem coming home in 3 weeks and 6 days I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please pray for our family that he will come home safely and my parents will be safe on there way to Ethiopia.

Lunch Money

Lunch Money was a very good book, but very long 222 pages. Lunch Money was written by Andrew Clements illustrated by Brian Selznick. Here is a short summary of Lunch Money.

Greg had been looking around the school cafeteria and every where he looked he saw quarters. He saw students buying things with quarters like ice cream sandwiches, cookies, comic books, books, and toys. Quarters were all over the place, buckets of them. At that moment Greg's view of the school changed completely and forever. He thought school was the most interesting place on the planet. Greg finally convinced the principal to sell a comic book he wrote for a quarter (not surprised ). I recommend this book for kids who love school. Oh, I didn't tell you, I don't love school, I'm CRAZY ABOUT SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First week of school !!!

My first week of school was awesome. The good thing about it was I didn't have to do math until my dad brought home my saxon math on his way home from Indiana this past week. I'm crazy because my favorite subjects so far are history and science. I know when I tell people that they think I'm crazy, but really they are; everybody has to like SCIENCE and HISTORY!

Art Camp

This morning I went to art camp at my friend's house, I will be going for the rest of the week. I had a lot of fun. We studied an artist named Henri Matisse. One day Matisse was ill and in bed, he had paper and scissors and started cutting and made a collage- he called it drawing with scissors. This picture is my own drawing with scissors project I made.
